Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 – Our debut at the Bolingbrook Wednesday Concert Series was a fantastic experience. The event was a hybrid of social distanced crowed as well as live broadcast over several social media platforms. This was also the first full band performance since the end of February, so it was fantastic to be out and performing with several safety precautions in place. View the entire performance here >
Thursday, July 16th, 2020 - Our second attempt at Basecamp acoustic was a success! Our first attempt a few weeks back was cancelled due to weather.

Unfortunately, our remaining dates in March have been cancelled on account of the Illinois mandated bar and restaurant closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On behalf of Chrissy, Ken, Carter, Kris and myself we ask you do support the many local restaurants, pubs and breweries many who are offering curbside food and beverages.
Please check out Girl in The Park, McBrides, Backroads Pub, Franklins Public House, JW Hollsteins, Quigley’s, Pollyanna Brewery, JT’s Porch, and Round Barn Estate to name a few. These venues have been great supporters of live music and many face the challenge of an uncertain future. Stay safe, we look forward to rocking out as soon as it is deemed safe to do so!
Much appreciation,
Neal Rudnik

Friday, February 28th, 2020 - The band enjoyed their debut at Basecamp in Lisle! Formerly known as the Lodge, Basecamp has been a fixture in the live music community.
Sunday, January 19th, 2020 - We had an absolute blast at the 3rd Annual Joint Forces Charity Concert at Joe's Live in Rosemont this past weekend! All proceeds went to the Illinois chapter of Tribute To The Troops and the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors which benefits disabled military veterans and gold star families. The band debuted a pile of new tunes including, GIRL, Beer Never Broke My Heart, Barefoot Blue Jean Night, Cruise and Tic-Toc.
Friday, January 3rd, 2020 - Chrissy & Neal kick off 2020 acoustically at Orland Park’s Girl In The Park!
Saturday, November 9th, 2019 - JW Hollsteins is always a highlight for us. Beer Never Broke My Heart, Old Town Road, and Senorita all made solid debuts.
Saturday, September 28th - 2019 - Chrissy and Neal were glad to be back at Girl In The Park after a few months break. Old Town Road, White Liar, Senorita, Beer Never Broke My Heart and She Will Be Loved all made solid debuts into the acoustic set.
Saturday, September 21st, 2019 – CK and The Gray was honored to be a part of the first Orland Park Brewfest. It was a wet and humid evening, but the sold-out crowd enjoyed beer and spirit tastings from local breweries and distilleries.
Saturday, August 24th, 2019 - C.K. and The Gray’s first trip up to Round Barn’s Jammin’ in The Vineyard was a massive success! Round Barn, based in Baroda Michigan, brews craft beer, distills vodka, whiskey and rum, but their original passion was growing grapes for wine. They now own and operate several local wineries in the southern Michigan area. On the weekends, they feature bands at their main estate right next the vineyard. Friends and families can enjoy food and drink while enjoying the Michigan countryside.
With well over 1,000 in attendance, and another 70 on the dance floor, this was probably the largest crowd the band has entertained. Pour Me, Santeria and Shallow make their debut in the set. Check out some sweet dance moves in the Shut Up and Dance vid below. Folks were clearly enjoying the CK sound!
Saturday, August 17th, 2019 - Chrissy and Neal team up for an acoustic duo for the second time in as many days. Saturday’s performance was in support of friends of the band, Illinois chapter of Tribute To The Troops and the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors. The block party portion was held at the Illinois Harley Davidson in Countryside, and all proceeds went to disabled military veterans and gold star families.
This has been CK’s third opportunity to perform for two fantastic organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. Special thanks to Illinois Harley Davidson, Texas Roadhouse of Countryside, and Pull-Ups for Patriots for the fantastic hospitality.
Friday, August 16th, 2019 - Chrissy and Neal return for a second year for the New Lenox Ladies Night. With over eighty vendors and nice weather, the duo had a nice turn out. GIRL made a fitting debut in the setlist.
Saturday, July 27th, 2019 - This was Neal and Carter’s eighth and CK’s fourth appearance at the Cardboard Boat Regatta in Lake Como, Wisconsin. With a sunny and warm day, a nice breeze kept everyone from getting too hot. The band was able to rock all afternoon and well into the evening. Special guest musicians Uncle Dave jammed the harmonica while Tommy Slab filled in on bass. Per tradition, the band eventually transitioned to acoustic as the afternoon faded into the evening.
Sunday, July 14th, 2019 – It was a blazing hot a humid day for CK’s return to Psycho Silo Saloon. With temps in the lower 90’s the silo was well equipped with misters and industrial strength air movers. The venue, tucked away in little known Langley Illinois, its actually closer to the Iowa border and draws folks from as far away as Davenport, Peoria, Rockford and Chicago. …and naturally, getting there and back is half the fun.
